Fund Raising Program for Season 2021-22

11 Nov 2021 by Brodie Grewcock

Firstly, on behalf of the Fund- Raising Committee, I would like to thank the club members who supported our initiatives in season 2020-21.

With Covid-19 greatly impacting last season, many sporting clubs experienced a significant decline in revenue, so to raise $12,320 was an outstanding effort. Thank you to everyone who contributed. This money is vital and provides the General Committee with a financial base to ensure the club has good coaching, is well equipped and can attract quality players to the club.

Our planning for the coming season is well advanced, and my committee has decided on a fund-raising program that provides opportunities for all sections of the club to participate.

Unfortunately, Covid-19 will again have a significant impact on the season ahead, so support of our fund-raising initiatives is vital to ensure the clubs remains in a strong financial position.

Our fund-raising program will be as follows:

• Membership of Centurion Club.
• Membership of Purple & Gold Club.
• Coterie Group Membership.
• End of Season Raffle
• Sportsman Night (To be held on Thursday 3rd February).
• Bunnings Bar-B-Que.

Centurion Club:
Membership of the Centurion Club will again be $100, and this is an inexpensive way for club members & supporters to make a financial contribution to the club.

Benefits:
Centurion Club members will receive a $1 discount every time they purchase an alcoholic beverage at the club throughout the season, receive a Centurion Club Stubby Holder plus recognition in the club’s Annual Report. You will also be allocated 20 free tickets in the Toyota Raffle.

We aim to attract a membership of 20+ people to this club and raise over $2,000.

Purple & Gold Club:
Membership of the Purple & Gold Club will be $300, and this club is designed to appeal to club members & supporters who would like to make a more significant financial contribution to the club, but who may not necessarily be around the club on a regular basis throughout the season.

Benefits:
Purple & Gold members will be invited to two exclusive functions; the first to be held at the clubrooms early in the season and then a mid-year luncheon, this providing an opportunity for a social catch up out of season. These members will also be recognised in the club’s Annual Report. You will also be allocated 60 free tickets in the Toyota Raffle.

We aim to attract a membership of 15+ people to this club and raise a minimum of $4,500.

Centurion/Purple & Gold Clubs Memberships:

For Club members & supporters who wish to become members of both Clubs ($400), we are prepared to offer you a discount of $25; combined membership being $375.
