Hello everyone,

It gives me great pleasure to announce the appointment of Lisa Cleland as the inaugural Captain of the McKinnon Cricket Club Women’s team for season 2022 / 23.

The Cleland family name is synonymous with the club with Lisa’s late father Russ, a former 1st XI Captain, Club President & Treasurer, Life Member and Club Legend and brothers Rob and Steve also representing the 1st XI with distinction.

Lisa brings an enormous amount of passion and enthusiasm into her role as Captain which will no doubt translate onto the field. Lisa’s appointment has already generated a great deal of interest from ladies both within and outside of McKinnon as the team begins to take shape.

So please come down and support Lisa and the McKinnon women’s team for the upcoming season!
